With the Rugby World Cup fast approaching and the A-League’s summer tour to the United States expected to start soon, we asked what it was like to be Australian, and what the fans could expect when they go to Australia.
What do you want to see from the Aussie team?
It’s the same as all of the previous tours.
I just want to get back to playing, so I don’t think I have any qualms with that.
It’s just about playing football and that’s it.
There’s a lot of other things going on.
I’ve just got to focus on my club and my job and focus on what I’m doing.
What’s important to me is my family and I just got back to work on Saturday and we’re going to get the World Series going.
I think we’re getting a good squad with the players we’ve got.
It will be hard, especially with the World Cups coming up, but we’ve done a good job of getting the right group of players together.
The guys that have come through the ranks we have a good group of young guys that we’ve picked up.
You don’t see the likes of Dylan Walker and Will Hopoate coming through the system, which is good for us.
They’ve done really well and we’ve brought them in for the World Finals.
I think it’s a good time for us to bring in players from outside the system.
We’re looking to bring them into the squad.
I think they will make the squad and we’ll try and make them as good as they can be.
What’s the best moment of the tournament so far?
I think the best was definitely when we lost to Germany in the quarter-finals and we had to go through to the semi-finals to get through.
We were outplayed by Germany and we couldn’t get the two points.
I thought that was a really strong performance.
I really thought that the team did a great job to take us on and it was a big victory for the fans.
I’d like to thank the fans for the support.
I’m really happy with what we’ve achieved so far, we’ve played well and the next game is going to be very important.
We have a lot to prove in the next few months.
We need to get another win and that is going, but the next two games are very important for us, so hopefully we can get that win in the last two games.
We are really happy that we were able to beat Germany.
They have a really good squad and I think we had a really tough game.
The team has done well for us in the past and it’s important for the team to be consistent, but it’s up to us to get that second-half goal.
Where can fans get tickets for the Australia-Japan friendly on Saturday?
